LRC to SRT Converter
Turn an LRC lyric file into SRT subtitles in your browser, with every timing decision shown before download.
LRC file or pasted lyrics with [mm:ss.xx] time tags, up to 2 MB, browser-local. Files may be UTF-8, UTF-16 LE/BE, EUC-KR, Shift_JIS, GB18030, or Windows-1252.
LRC stores only when each line starts. Each subtitle ends when the next line starts, a blank time line ends the line before it, and the last line lasts a disclosed 4 seconds. An [offset:] tag is applied; [ar:], [ti:] and other metadata tags are not carried over.

How it works
- 1Add an LRC file, paste lyrics with time tags, or load the example.
- 2Review the detected line count, the notices and the time range.
- 3Convert, read the notices beside the action, then download or copy the SRT.
Example result
The example has an artist tag, a chorus line with two time tags, and a blank time line, so you can see how starts, repeats and end times are handled.
The example above uses this exact fixture and can be reset like any selected file.
What is preserved
- Lyric wording and line order by time
- Every start time, including lines repeated with several time tags
- Lines that share one time tag, kept together as one multi-line subtitle
What changes
- End times are created: each line ends when the next one starts, and the last line lasts 4 seconds unless a blank time line ends it.
- Word-level <mm:ss.xx> timing is removed; each line keeps its start time.
Limits
- Line-level LRC only; word-by-word karaoke timing is not kept
- Metadata tags such as [ar:] and [ti:] are dropped
- This tool does not find or download lyrics, sync lyrics to audio, upload files or require login
Frequently asked questions
Where do SRT end times come from?
LRC has no end times. Each subtitle ends when the next timed line starts. A time tag with no text, such as [01:02.00] on its own line, ends the line before it. The last line lasts 4 seconds unless such a blank line ends it.
What happens to [offset:] and [ar:] tags?
A positive [offset:] makes lyrics appear earlier and a negative one later, so the converter applies it to every line and says so. Artist, title and other metadata tags have no place in SRT and are dropped with a notice.
Are my lyric files uploaded?
No. Reading, conversion, preview, copy and download all happen in your browser. The tool does not supply lyrics; use files you wrote or are allowed to use.
